Chocolate Mask *Yummy*

Don't you just hate it when lots of dark chocolate is left over from a bag of delicious mixed chocolates? Well waste no more because here is a quick and easy face mask you can do with your extra dark chocolates. Imagine no more wasted chocolate! Dark chocolate is rich with antioxidants that leave your skin with a healthy glow feeling totally moisturized. A daily dose of dark chocolate will not only improve your skin, but will help it fight harmful UV rays as well. I happen to love the taste of dark chocolate so it never gets wasted in my house! Unlike my other homemade remedies, this mask not only refreshes your skin, but tastes yummy also!

 Supplies:

  • Left over chocolate
  • Plastic bowl
  • Spoon
  • Microwave

Step 1:
Break up chocolate into a plastic bowl.

Step 2:

Then Put the  bowl of broken up chocolate into the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending  on the consistency of the chocolate. We want to the mixture of the chocolate smooth and silky.

 Step 3:

Once you have the chocolate melted to the right consistency, mix it together with a spoon.Set to the side for 1 to 2 minutes to let the chocolate mixture to cool down enough to place on to face.

Step 4:

Now that the chocolate has cool down, apply a generous amount to face or problem areas. Leave on for ten to fifteen minutes, wash off with warm water. Then rinse face off with cold water to lock in the moisture from the chocolate mask.

Your face should feel firm refreshed and smell of yummy chocolate!
You can also do this mask with cocoa powder and plain yogurt as well.

This is similar to what I have done, though I added honey and sugar, I added the honey because its a natural cleanser and the sugar made it more of a facial scrub. Then of course after putting it on I had to have a taste test.
